Duck Head Apparel, a brand of casual clothes sold through major retailers, launched its own online store—a major undertaking for a manufacturer that had never even had a catalog. This is the story of how Duck Head was able to bring its online store to market very quickly with controllable cost and minimal disruption by building on its in-house systems and extending them into ecommerce.
